We will not be able to assess your application until your financial information has been received.

If you are unable to make an online application, please send written details of your planned work and funding needs on no more than two sides of A4 paper to the address above, enclosing your most recent statutory report and accounts.

Application Process

All applications are acknowledged within seven working days and are reported first to the relevant committee and then to the Court of Assistants.  Applicants should note that the Charity Committee (General Welfare programmes) normally meets every eight weeks, and the Church, Education and Heritage and Arts Committees every twelve weeks.  The ratification process may take up to a further four weeks from the committee date.  You will only receive a final decision after that has happened.

All information for an application needs to be available by a minimum of four weeks before a meeting date.  You are advised to apply in good time if an early decision would be helpful to you, for example, if you are requesting items needed in the Summer.

Please note that the Company will not fund any activity which has been completed prior to a formal decision on the application being made.
