We have launched a new Heritage & Arts programme to complement our other people-focused funding programmes.

At the Mercers’ Company, we appreciate the richness that heritage and the arts bring to our lives and how they tell the stories of who we are, the architecture of our history and build a sense of belonging, ownership and opportunity.

Our new programme focused on London and the Southeast aims to: Enrich people’s lives through access to Heritage & Arts (with a particular focus on access for disadvantaged groups) and Assist people at the start of their careers in Heritage & Arts (supporting apprenticeships in the arts, performing arts or crafts with a particular focus on textiles.

The H&A programme is a research-based initiative. Our team will identify organisations that meet our aims and invite them to put forward proposals for funding. For all grants awarded, funding will be significant, in the context of the project or organisation supported.
